Deputy Director / Jiu Jitsu Instructor
Jeff served for 6 years in the United States Army as a light infantry squad leader in the 10th Mountain Division. While in the 10th Mountain Division, he deployed as part of Operation Joint Forge to Bosnia. Jeff left active duty in 2001 to attend college at Penn State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Info. Systems Technology. To continue his passion of serving others, Jeff decided to attend law school at Stetson University and has been admitted as an attorney in the State of Florida since 2008.
Using his leadership background, Jeff then founded his own law firm to serve businesses and individuals in the Tampa Bay area. During this time, he served as a board member and many other leadership roles for multiple not for profit organizations. Jeff is a regular speaker and instructor in areas related to business, startups, and government contracting. He has been privilege to teach at places such as the Small Business Administration’s Boots to Business program, SCORE Pinellas, and the Accelerated Veteran Entrepreneurship Certificate offered by St. Petersburg College.
To further succeed at his personal mission, Jeff decided to change his focus from his law firm towards serving Veterans. He is excited to bring his skills and experience to Fort Valor.
Jeff is a purple belt in Brazilian jiu jitsu studying at Gracie Clearwater under Professor Jeff Bailey.
